Mission and Purpose

Glenview Stars

The Mission of the Glenview Stars Hockey Association, Inc. (GSHA) is to provide a venue for youth hockey players of all ages to play hockey at a competitive level and to assist such players in the development of their hockey skills as well as foster a growing appreciation for the game of hockey.

GSHA intends to provide an opportunity and positive atmosphere for all players to participate in the game of hockey. In addition, GSHA desires to promote self esteem, good character and strong work ethic, on and off the ice. GSHA will encourage sportsmanship and cultivate a healthy and productive hockey program.

We are members of and will conduct the organization in accordance with USA Hockey, the Amateur Hockey Association of Illinois (AHAI), the Central States Developmental Hockey League (CSDHL) and the Northern Illinois Hockey League (NIHL).
